BODYBALANCE™ is a class that burns calories, improves your core strength and flexibility, boosts your cardiovascular performance and leaves you feeling calm, centred and in control.

It involves a series of poses and movements inspired by Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates set to a mix of gentle, relaxing and energising music. Hot Yoga

Hot Yoga

A Yoga class which focuses on the spine and muscles around the spine. Performed in 80 – 100 degrees Fahrenheit taken in our specially heated studio.

Increases circulation and lung capacity. Reduces stress and improves flexibility. Burns between 500 and 1,250 calories per session.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) includes short bursts of low to high-intensity exercises followed by short rest periods. You’ll burn a huge amount of calories whilst significantly improving your speed, stamina and cardiovascular fitness. It’s a great class when you’re short of time but still want to feel the benefits of a full and varied exercise workout.

At Hearts we run three Nifty 50s classes: Aerobics, Weights and Dancercise. All classes last 25 minutes.

An effective way to get the shape you always wanted.

Almost every woman wants a slim, toned and flexible body, and most of the “problem zones” are found from the waist down.

Legs, Bums & Tums is specifically designed to target the lower half of your body. A series of exercises designed to tone the key muscle groups around the bottom, stomach and legs, this class will also improve your stamina, your flexibility and your performance in daily life.

Old School aerobics is a throwback from the Jane Fonda days incorporating cardio and toning exercises to recognisable theme tunes.

Women & Weights

For a lifetime of good health and fitness, it’s important that women commit to weight training.

Resistance exercises, or weight training, can improve your mobility and flexibility, enhance the effectiveness and calorie burning potential of other exercises and can even help to prevent such conditions as heart disease and osteoporosis.

This group weight training class uses a variety of weighted dumbells and light hand weights to strengthen and tone your muscles. It will shape and tone your body, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of weight training without building bulk.

Weight training is an essential part of any balanced exercise routine, and Women & Weights is the ideal place to start. This class is the perfect complement to the more aerobic or cardiovascular classes.

Zumba® is the dance-fitness craze that burns calories, tones muscles and improves flexibility. But best of all, it’s so much fun that it simply doesn’t feel like exercise. People of all ages are falling in love with its infectious music, easy-to-follow dance moves and life-enriching benefits!

Zumba® was created in the mid-90s by Alberto “Beto” Perez, a celebrity fitness trainer and choreographer for pop superstars. Inspired by the traditional Cumbia, Salsa, Samba and Merengue music he grew up with, Beto paired his favourite pulsating Latin rhythms with the red-hot international dance steps his clients loved to create an international exercise phenomenon.

With its exotic music, infectious rhythms and simple-yet-effective moves, Zumba® feels more like a party than an exercise class. In each 40 minute class you’ll burn up to 600 calories, and as you’re much more likely to stick with an exercise programme if you’re enjoying yourself, Zumba® gets results.
